Dear Liberals

This my open letter to the hard left

You HAVE to stop the meme that you are "smarter" or worse yet "better"

In the midst of the campaign in Massachusetts, both John Kerry, who never met a rich widow we wouldn't woo, and Barack Obama snidely referred to Scott Brown's pickup truck

They did so with derision.

People are catching onto the snide remarks about "normal" people who either willingly or unwillingly get involved. By "normal" I mean maybe they didn't go to an Ivy League school and gained favor with leftist professors at those institutions who then wrote glowing recommendations to Ivy League grad schools.

It's always a truism of the left to do these things: Republicans are not "enlightened." They did it with Reagan, he's just some doddling old actor. Sarah Palin, she's went to 3 or 4 schools, and is the governor of (to them) a nothing state.

Now look, I'm not going to deny that Ivy League looks good on a resume, but I went to a good school as well. What does it mean. It means at 18 I was a high achiever, had good contacts and recommendations, parents who gave to a board, what?

What does it mean when you're 45 and running for a Senate seat? Or President? That you were fortunate as a kid?

People want to be led, not ruled. There is no oligarchy of smart people that won't eventually fall under the weight of their own self-importance. The GOP made this mistake in 2006.

Until folks like Kerry get that through their skulls, this backlash will continue.

Just sayin'

fundamental Jihadist shoots up a military base everyone gets their panties in a bunch, from the great appeaser Obama to the head of the army (who was anti-surge fyi) talking about diversity as if it mattered in the instance.

Meanwhile an abortion doctor gets shot it's an act of terror, the fault of the right wing, talk radio, Christianity, tea parties, and angry white male extremism.

I'll also note the Great Appeaser didn't say the Jihadist "acted stupidly" like he did the Cambridge police department.

I guess we should rush to judgment when it involves our left wing friends, eh Mr. Zero?

On civility

As far as I can remember the debate between Republicans and Democrats has been contentious, but much like Bill Cosby's bit on the coin flip between the Revolutionary War:

General Cornwalis, General Washington has won the toss, his men can shoot behind trees and rocks while your men must march in a straight line

Now with Joe Wilson standing up and saying what anyone with a modicum of common sense and a low tolerance for bullshit would be able to tell you (that Obama was lying, on MANY fronts) people are calling for decorum and civility, mostly on the Democratic side of the aisle.

Howard Dean is one of those leading the charge.

HOWARD FUCKING DEAN.

The man who never let an opportunity to talk about Republicans without calling them racists is now saying we really need to have civility. The President who said "get in their faces and argue with" the critics and doubters now just wants us to sit and take it at face value.

The party whose leadership called ordinary Americans insurance company plants, Nazis, KKK, terrorists and un-American

The party whose voting base it catered to, the hard hard left called our last President Chimpy McHitler and had death fantasies in the media. The ones who want to drum up our last administration on trumped up war crimes and accused him of manufacturing a war, some of whom also believe he let a terrorist attack happen to start said war, merely to pay off oil companies. The followers who were rooting for pretzels over our President's health

5 nightly shows a week (3 on MSNBC, 2 on Comedy Central) mock and deride and then cry whenever they're called on it.

I say no. The time for being civil has passed. It's time to go back on the attack. Mock, deride, call them the dumbass blind idealists they are.

For you see Democrats are deluded on two fronts. The first is that they view America as unfair and unjust, despite the fact it has provided more opportunity than any nation on this earth. More drugs, more technologies, more humanitarian aid. Not perfect, but the closest one will get.

The second is that they want to deal with the world as they think it should be rather than the way it actually operates. They think they can control the morality and wants of man. "Why are people greedy." "Why are they power hungry" "Why are they in it for themselves." They live in a world where you can negotiate with foreign powers who are not rational. They project weakness and will get walked all over every time.

Oddly enough, man can't provide moral order but a higher power can, which they've all but tried to eliminate from any discussion. I'm no big God person, but it has a purpose in order and "civilizing" our base wants. You can't "kill" religion and then wonder why people won't be good, there's no higher reward for it other than the bullshit collectivist theory of helping your fellow man sate his base wants.

If you are going to be secular, profit motive invests in society, collectivism invests in man, and that will always be a bad investment.

Mock and deride. Mock and deride. Time to graduate from college and come into the real world instead of cowering behind some false sense of "intelligence."

8 years later

We can show pics of dead and wounded soldiers, but 9/11 footage is too upsetting to be shown. My how our priorities have changed

the week that was

Democrats, including my representative Brad Sherman dressed down auto makers who arrived to the hearings in private jets, scolding them for not planning to sell them or fly back on commercial planes.

Congress is now getting anywhere from 5-8 private jets

Good lord. I mean, I get on the Republicans for being hypocrites, but the media will mostly do that. Most of your major media outlets are silent on this.

As they are on union thugs beating black men up in St. Louis. Ordinary people who don't want their health care changed are called mobsters and corporate lackeys.

One of the things I've learned in my studies of political organization is that one of the more effective tools is to project the exact things you're planning on doing onto your opposition. Democrats have turned this into a science.

Call opposition traitors or nazis, check
Government spying on you: flag@whitehouse.gov
Shut down free speech, check
Call your opposition "hate-filled bigots", check.
Send your goons to shut down opposition, check. (how I loathe the SEIU)

Look, most people don't want health care changed, they want the process to get it paid for easier. The issue here is whether a very vocal minority has earned the right to tell us to shut up and like it while they do what they want.

When the birther movement resurrected itself under odd circumstances, I said it was a ploy by the left to tie it into people opposing tax hikes and health care change. Paul Krugman this week, proved me correct. Never mind that the birther movement itself is a product of Hillary superdelegates.

For the record I find birthers, truthers, war for oil, Bush should get war crimes, etc. all of the same nutty ilk.

Speaking of the Hill, this North Korea thing...has the Clinton name all over it, not the Obama name. Irony that everyone involved hate each other. Gore hats Bill, Bill hates Obama, Obama hates Bill, Hillary hates Obama, Hillary hates Bill (well...maybe).

But don't think for a second that Hillary wouldn't run in 2012 if Zero's poll numbers continue to dip.

The smartest guys in the room

I have grown tired of the meme that this administration is "too smart to fail"

Joe Biden, in what has become a regular occurrence, insulted Russia by saying they were a weakened nation

Hillary Clinton scolded North Korea as unruly children

Barack Obama is giving us a "teachable moment" by calling white cops "stupid" with absolutely no knowledge of what he's talking about because he's sticking up for his race-baiting friend.

It's not okay to meddle in Iran, a nation we've been at odds with for years, but Honduras' dictatorship should be supported and Israel needs to be put in check.

Add to the list of things this admistration hates: doctors
"Right now, doctors, a lot of times, are forced to make decisions based on the fee payment schedule that's out there. So if ... your child has a bad sore throat, or has repeated sore throats, the doctor may look at the reimbursement system and say to himself, "You know what? I make a lot more money if I take this kid's tonsils out."

Now, that may be the right thing to do. But I'd rather have that doctor making those decisions just based on whether you really need your kid's tonsils out or whether it might make more sense just to change -- maybe they have allergies. Maybe they have something else that would make a difference."

Cops are racist, doctors are greedy, we're all a bunch of rich snots. Remember the Obama story, they gave up private sector and making money to serve people

Oh, but the Obamas can fly off to Paris, have date night in New York, and parties every Wednesday.

Let us eat cake.

I figured it out, the only people this administration likes: people like them ($1 to Andy Kindler)
